Srinagar, April 26 : The Met Centre Srinagar has issued a weather forecast for Jammu and Kashmir, indicating a generally dry spell over the next few days with isolated light rain and thundershowers expected at some places.
According to the forecast, April 26 may see brief spells of light rain or thundershowers towards the afternoon in isolated areas.
The weather is expected to remain dry from April 27 to April 30. However, there is a possibility of light rain and thundershowers at isolated places on May 2-3.
The advisory also warns of hot and dry weather over the Jammu Division, with heat waves expected at isolated places.
Residents are advised to stay hydrated, drink plenty of water and fluids, and avoid working in the open during peak hours (12-3 pm).
