Srinagar, Nov 18: In a display of extraordinary skill and determination, young girls from Srinagar shone bright at the Jammu & Kashmir (UT) Roller Skating Championship held at M.A. Stadium, Jammu. The championship, organized by the J&K Roller Skating Sports Association, witnessed thrilling performances from talented skaters across various age groups.
Participants from different districts of the J&K UT showcased their prowess in roller skating, turning the championship into a rollercoaster of exciting moments. Among the standout performers were the young girls from the Kashmir Division, who not only participated with zeal but also brought home a haul of medals.
In the 5-7 age group for girls, the spotlight was on Ilma Naqash, who clinched an impressive 1 Gold and 2 Silver medals, showcasing her exceptional skills on wheels. In the 7 to 9 age category, Khadijah Javid demonstrated her prowess with a remarkable performance, securing 3 Silver medals. Not to be outdone, Hooriya Showkat dominated the 9 to 11 age group, earning herself 1 Gold and 2 Silver medals.
