Jammu and Kashmir on Monday reported 40 fresh COVID positive cases, taking the number of infected persons to 479800 however, no fatality reported due to the virus in the last 24 hours, officials said.
Of the new cases, 21 were from the Jammu division and 19 from the Kashmir division of the union territory, Officials said.
There are 166 active cases in the union territory, 41 in Jammu division and 125 in Kashmir division while the number of recoveries so far has been 474848, officials said.
Moreover, 21 Covid-19 patients recovered during the time, 03 from Jammu Division and 18 from Kashmir, they said.
