SRINAGAR, Aug 09: The Committee for Fixation and Regulation of Fees of Private Schools in Jammu and Kashmir has issued a directive to all private schools in the Union Territory, instructing them to submit their fee structure files for approval.
Justice Sunil Hali, Chairperson of the Committee, emphasized that schools whose files are still pending must submit them through the chairperson or principal. In cases where the chairperson or principal is unavailable, the individual submitting the file must have an authority letter from the school’s managing committee.
The submission must include an identity card and the authority letter as proof. Files not complying with these instructions will not be accepted.
Furthermore, it is mandatory for all private schools in Jammu and Kashmir to display the approved fee structures for all classes on their notice boards. This will enable parents to pay fees according to the approved rates set by the Committee for Fixation and Regulation of Fees of Private Schools, J&K.
