Srinagar, July 05: A high-level delegation from the Jammu and Kashmir Pensioners United Front, led by President Ab Qayoom Wani, met with Chief Secretary Atul Daloo on Friday in his office at the Civil Secretariat in Srinagar. The delegation submitted a charter of demands and engaged in an in-depth discussion with the Chief Secretary.
Daloo gave a patient hearing to the delegation and assured the leaders of the Pensioners United Front that all genuine demands would be addressed promptly. He also issued directives to the Principal Secretary of Finance and other concerned officials for speedy resolution.
President Ab Qayoom Wani expressed his gratitude to the Chief Secretary for his attentive consideration of the pensioners’ and senior citizens’ concerns. The charter of demands, consisting of 16 points, was enclosed with the press release from today’s meeting.
