Bramulla, June 07: Minister of State & Chairperson J&K Waqf Board Dr Darakhshan Andrabi on Wednesday said that Jammu and Kashmir is emerging as an international destination for investors and tourists.
“Economic boost to J&K will create jobs and uplift society on a grand scale. Our future is brighter as envisioned by our Prime Minister,” she said while interacting with media persons and social media influencers in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
On the occasion, Dr Andrabi deliberated upon the significant people friendly schemes and programmes of the government which have made a remarkable change in the lives of the people.
While answering to a question, she said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has become an inspiration for all those youth who want to contribute for the nation’s growth. “The press freedom has been ensured during the BJP government in J&K. Public welfare, corruption free governance and accountability at all stages in all spheres of life is what qualifies Modi regime as a unique model in whole of the world,” she said.
Hailing the people of Kashmir for their “grand welcome” to the delegates of the G20 event at Srinagar, the Waqf Board chairperson said the successful event has opened windows for progress and development in J&K.
“We are now known for all good reasons in the world after a long time. Our Prime Minister has infused in us the spirit of life and this is going to lead us to a better future in a cordial and peaceful environment here,” she said.
Dr Darakhshan presented the certificates of honour to the media persons for their “exemplary contributions in establishing the era of positivity, peace and harmony again in Kashmir after a gap of three decades of bloodshed and the era of suppression of facts”.
