J&K leaders greet people on Ramadan

Srinagar, Mar 11: Political leaders in Jammu & Kashmir have greeted the people on the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan. They have urged the administration to ensure all facilities, especially for worshippers.
Jammu and Kashmir National Conference president Dr Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah have greeted people at the onset of the holy month of Ramadan.
Dr Farooq in his message said, “May the divine blessings of Allah bless us all during the holy month of Ramadan. I take this opportunity to wish Ramadan Mubarak to all. May Almighty bless us all in our endeavours and accept our fasts and prayers. I also urge the divisional administration of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh to ensure all basic and effective amenities to the people during the holy month.”
He said, “The household requirements of people increase exponentially during the holy month. It is therefore imperative for the state administration to ensure a hassle-free Ramadan to people. I impress upon the incumbent Governor’s administration to ensure all facilities to people across JK.”
Omar Abdullah, while greeting the people said, “I wish Ramadan Mubarak to all, and hope that the sacred month brings cheerfulness to our people. In this month, we should remember those who need our help, May we be guided by our faith in Allah towards success and prosperity.”
Among others, Party General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar, Additional General Secretary Dr Sheikh Mustafa Kamal, Treasurer Shammi Oberoi, Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani, Chief Spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq, MPs M Akbar Lone, Hasnain Masoodi, Political Advisor to President Mushtaq Guroo, Political Advisor to VP Mudassar Shahmiri, State Spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar have also extended warm greetings to people on the onset of auspicious month.
Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari has extended warm greetings to the people, especially Muslims of Jammu & Kashmir, on the arrival of the revered month of Ramadan.
In a statement, Altaf Bukhari said, “I extend greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir, especially the Muslims, on the arrival of the month of Ramadan, which is the holiest month and holds unparalleled significance in the history of Islam. This is the month of piety and prayers, which teaches us to be pious and humble. May this sacred month bring peace, tranquillity, harmony, and compassion to our society.”
The Apni Party leader urged the administration to ensure an adequate availability of commodities in the markets, as well as a reliable supply of drinking water and electricity across Jammu and Kashmir during this month.
Peoples Conference President Sajad Gani Lone extended heartfelt wishes to the people of Jammu and Kashmir and the entire Muslim community on the commencement of the holy month of Ramadan.
In a statement, the PC President expressed hope that this sacred month will bring peace and prosperity to our lives, drawing us further closer to Almighty Allah through sincere prayers and fasting.
Lone also urged the administration to ensure uninterrupted electricity and water supply, particularly during the morning and evening hours, to prevent any inconvenience to the people.
Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Front (PDF) Hakeem Yaseen greeted the people on the auspicious month of Ramadan. He prayed that the auspicious month of Ramadan may prove to be a harbinger of peace and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir.
The former minister urged the administration to ensure the availability of adequate stocks during the month and check black marketing.
