Srinagar, Sep 10: The J&K Judo Association is gearing up for the Srinagar District Senior Judo Championship cum selection trials, a significant event leading up to the Senior National Judo Championship of the Kashmir province.
Scheduled for September 12, 2023, at 03:00 pm, the championship will take place at the prestigious Indoor Sports Hall, Pologround, Srinagar. This event, under the patronage of the J&K Sports Council, welcomes participants from both men and women categories to showcase their judo prowess.
The stakes are high as those selected during these trials will advance to the final selection trials at the JK UT Judo Championship set to occur at the Indoor Sports Complex in Baghwati Nagar, Jammu, on September 14. The judokas who secure their place in the Jammu trials will have the honor of representing Jammu and Kashmir in the Senior National Judo Championship, slated to be held in Jaipur, Rajasthan, from October 1st to October 5th, 2023.
