J&K Govt order transfers and postings of Higher Education Principals

The Government of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday has ordered the transfer and posting of several Principals within the Higher Education Department, effective immediately.

As per the govt order, Mohammad Farooq Mir, currently serving as Principal at GCW Nawakadal, Srinagar, has been transferred to S.P. College, Srinagar. Huda Gazali, Principal at GCW Pulwama, will now take up the position at GCW Nawakadal, Srinagar.

Yasmeen Farooq, previously posted at GDC Bemina, has been moved to GCW M.A. Road, Srinagar. Mudasir Afshan, Principal of GDC Budgam, will continue in his current role.

Mohammad Amin Malik, Principal of GDC Allochibagh, will also remain in his current position. Ajaz Ahmed Hakak, Principal at Government College, Srinagar, has been reassigned to Gandhi Memorial College, Srinagar, relieving Dr. Sheikh Javaid Bashir. Additionally, he will hold the charge of Principal at A.S. College, Srinagar, as per the order.

Tariq Hussain Bhat, currently serving as Principal at GDC Bandipora, will now take over as Principal at Gandhi Memorial College, Srinagar. Furthermore, the Principal of GCW Pulwama has been instructed to continue performing additional duties related to the management of GDC Pulwama until further notice.
