Jammu, Jan 01: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) high command has instructed all 28 MLAs from Jammu and Kashmir to join the party’s campaign efforts for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections. Senior leaders from the J&K BJP have been called to participate in the campaign.
Yudhvir Sethi, a BJP MLA and former General Secretary of the party, confirmed the directive, saying, “All 28 MLAs of BJP J&K have been asked by the party high command to campaign in Delhi for the Assembly elections.”
According to sources, 6-7 MLAs and several senior leaders have already travelled to Delhi in compliance with the orders, with others expected to join within the next couple of days.
Upon arrival in Delhi, the MLAs and senior leaders will report to the BJP headquarters, where they will be assigned specific campaign duties by the party leadership.
