JK Bank witnesses record transactions worth Rs 3000 cr in two days

SRINAGAR, JUNE 27: Jammu and Kashmir Bankexperienced an unprecedented surge in transactions over the course of two days, with an astounding total of 52 lakh transactions worth a staggering Rs. 3000 crores. This remarkable feat showcases the ever-increasing popularity of digital banking services in the region.
Among the various digital transaction modes, UPI emerged as the frontrunner, accounting for an impressive 23 lakh transactions, equivalent to Rs. 400 crore. The ease, convenience, and security offered by UPI have propelled it to the forefront of digital payment solutions, allowing customers to effortlessly transfer funds with a few simple taps on their smartphones.
Following closely behind, MPAY witnessed 21 lakh transactions, totalingRs. 1530 crores. MPAY, known for its reliability and user-friendly interface, has gained the trust of customers, enabling them to conduct their financial activities seamlessly and securely.
The usage of ATMs remained strong, with six lakh transactions amounting to Rs. 320 crores. The availability of ATMs throughout the region has played a crucial role in ensuring hassle-free cash withdrawals and meeting the banking needs of customers.
The popularity of eBanking and other digital services was also evident, with two lakh transactions accounting for a substantial sum of Rs. 800 crores. These platforms have proven to be instrumental in transforming the banking experience, providing customers with comprehensive financial solutions from the comfort of their homes or offices.
The combined impact of these digital and ATM transactions highlights the progressive shift towards a cashless society, bolstered by the convenience and efficiency offered by digital banking solutions. Jammu and Kashmir Bank, with its steadfast commitment to customer-centric services, has positioned itself as a leader in embracing this transformative era of banking.
