J&K Assembly Election Results: J&K election’s ‘phenomenal’ success due to PM Modi’s vision: Tarun Chugh

Jammu, Oct 08: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national general secretary Tarun Chugh on Tuesday expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the people of Jammu & Kashmir for delivering the highest percentage of votes in the assembly elections and securing the largest number of seats in the party’s history in the region. He credited this success to the dedication of party workers and the trust placed in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Chugh in a statement said the BJP and the Prime Minister are committed to the development and security of Jammu & Kashmir and aim to transform the region into a model of progress for the entire country.
Welcoming the mandate from the people, he thanked the Election Commission and voters for the high turnout and to the administration for ensuring peaceful voting. “This election reaffirmed the people’s trust in democracy and strengthened the Prime Minister’s efforts to ensure its flourishing in Jammu & Kashmir,” he said.
Chugh said the BJP is committed to the overall development and welfare of J&K’s residents. Celebrating the party’s highest vote share in Jammu & Kashmir, he declared it the biggest victory for the party in the area.
The BJP leader also expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister, saying the election’s phenomenal success is due to his vision for peace, prosperity and development in Jammu & Kashmir, as well as the trust the people have in his leadership.
Meanwhile, Tarun Chugh said that PM Modi’s vision has garnered more votes than the National Conference (NC) in the assembly elections.
He expressed his gratitude to the people of Jammu & Kashmir for their support, saying the BJP secured 14.62 lakh votes, surpassing NC’s tally of 13.36 lakh votes. “This success is due to the BJP’s development-oriented policies, which were favored by the electorate over NC’s communal and divisive politics,” he said, adding, “1.4 million voters rejected the National Conference, instead opting for PM Modi’s vision of unity and progress.”
Responding to NC’s claims of BJP politicising along communal lines, Chugh said the BJP’s higher vote count is evidence of the public’s trust in the party’s agenda.
“The increased vote share reflects the growing confidence in Modi’s leadership and long-term development plans for the region,” he added.
The BJP leader said thanked the voters for their faith in the BJP and assured that the party would continue to work towards a prosperous and peaceful future for Jammu & Kashmir.
