Srinagar, Apr 02: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has granted post-facto sanction for the arrangements made during the visit of the Prime Minister NarendraModi to Srinagar on 07 March.
As per the official communication, the Chief Engineer (R&B) Central, Kashmir, executed the necessary work amounting to Rs. 1737.34 lakh for the management of the event at Bakshi Stadium.
The sanction is subject to compliance with the prescribed procedures outlined in the General Financial Rules (GFR), 2017, and the Manual of Procurement of Works, it said adding that the Finance Department has provided concurrence for this sanction.
The decision ensures that the necessary arrangements made for the Prime Minister’s visit adhere to established guidelines and procedures, thereby ensuring transparency and accountability in government expenditure.
