Jammu, Oct 30: JDU Jammu unit JDU Sunday celebrated 19th foundation day Jammu Srinagar organized by District unit Jammu.
Speaking on the occasion State General Secretary Vivek Bali said that people have made the JDU as the country’s one of the prominent political parties and  the ‘arrow’ is blooming in every nook and corner of the country. The emerging dominance of the JDU under Nitish Kumar and state president GM Shahhen’s leadership has given sleepless nights to the JDU that ruled for many years after Independence.
He also said, “JDU is committed to India’s unity and integrity, its intrinsic identity and the social strength.” The party believes in the principle of “justice for all and appeasement of none”, that was why it attracted large masses into its fold and has become the India’s one of the largest party in terms of popularity and work done
While speaking on the occasion JDU’s rising political graph and acceptance of its ideology in the country under Nitish Kumar leadership has stumped the political pundits who never imagined that the JDU would be able to travel this far when it came into existence on October 30, 2003.
Vivek Bali said that JDU always aims to work for the welfare of the people. The people have shown so much love and support for the party all these years, he said. He said that JDU supports the ones who work hard for the party. The parties in power earlier practised vote bank politics in which promises were made to some sections of society while others were ignored, he said, adding that discrimination and corruption were “side effects of this politics
While unfurling the party flag, State General Secretary Vivek Bali said that JDU was one of the few parties in India to have a popular-based governing structure, where workers and leaders at the local level have a great say in much of the decision-making.
“JDU leadership has taken care of the aspirations of country’s citizens their empowerment, faster connectivity, more jobs, better education and improved quality of life,” he said, the Good Governance model of National Leader Nitish Kumar, encompasses these broad themes into simple takeaways which have the potential of transforming India in the near future.
