Javed Rana greets people on eve of Eid-ul-Fitr

Jammu, March 30: Minister for Jal Shakti and Forests, Javed Rana, on Sunday greeted people on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr, saying this festival motivates all to lead a peaceful life and work for the prosperity of our society.
This festival marks culmination of the period of fasting and prayer during the holy month of Ramzan and gives us the message of love and brotherhood, he said. “This festival promotes unity, for-giveness and charity. Eid is the occasion to help the poor and deprived people and share our happi-ness with them,” the Minister said. He said: “On the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, let us spread the feelings of love, kindness and compassion while working for the betterment of our society.”
