Srinagar, June 09: With more than three decades of professional experience in the industry, Javed Anjum has been appointed as the new Director of Srinagar International Airport replacing Kuldeep Singh Reshi who joined the airport on August 01, 2022.
Prior to this appointment, Anjum was general manager at corporate headquarters Airport Authority of India (AAI) and has a vast experience of 32 years.
Anjum told Rising Kashmir that it is his second term at the airport and before that, he had served as project manager of a terminal building constructed in 2009. It is my luck that I have been appointed again to serve here, he said.
“Will do everything to upgrade existing facilities at the airport and my priority will be the expansion of the airport. In the next few years, people will be a vibrant change in the airport,” Anjum said.
