This library will serve as a valuable resource for members of the Kashmiri Pandit (KP) community who are aspiring to prepare for competitive examinations.
According to authorities, the computer-based library will be utilized by the aspirants of Kashmiri Pandit (KP) community to prepare for various competitive examinations.
Engaging with community members, he exhibited a hands-on approach to addressing their concerns, ensuring prompt resolutions by directing officials.
A significant proposal emerged during the interaction, as a member of the Kashmir Pandit community advocated for a specialized library catering to civil service aspirants.
DC Kulgam responded by stating, “Give me a single room, and we will establish a computer-based library equipped with modern resources, ensuring aspirants have access to the finest books and study materials for competitive examinations.”
He further assured that, with the cooperation of the Pandit community, the library would be operational within a week.
He said that to facilitate ongoing communication and address potential concerns, the district administration will be holding a monthly coordination committee meeting with the Pandit community, particularly focusing on issues that may arise during the winter season.
“This initiative aims to ensure that no grievance goes unaddressed, thereby fostering a stronger bond between the administration and the Pandit Colony residents,” he added.
DC Kulgam was joined by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Viqar Ahmad Giri along with some other officials.
