Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH-44) was closed for vehicular traffic due to damage of road near Dawal bridge, Udhampur, Officials said on Sunday.
In a tweet, SSP Ramban Mohita Sharma informed, ” Slide at Dawal near Samroli has blocked traffic movement from both sides. Ask TCU before making travel plan.”
Meanwhile, J&K traffic Police said Jammu Srinagar NHW closed due to damage of road near Dawal bridge, Udhampur.
The highway is the main road which connects the Union Territory with the rest of the country. All essential supplies and vehicles pass through the highway.
