The Srinagar-Jammu highway was restored partially after remaining closed for the vehicular movement, Traffic officials said on Sunday.
A J&K traffic official said, “Jammu-Srinagar NHW (NH-44) was partially restored, stranded vehicles between Nashree and Banihal are being cleared.”
“Commuters are advised to follow lane discipline, drive with cautiously as apprehension of shooting stones between Ramban and Banihal”, he said.
Earlier, Officials said Road widening work is still in progress at many places On Jammu-Srinagar NHW. People are advised not to undertake journey on Jammu-Srinagar NHW between Nashri and NAVYUG Tunnel till the restoration work is completed.
