A driver was killed and 17 pilgrims injured after a bus they were travelling in plunged into a deep gorge in Jammu outskirts on Saturday evening.
An official said that the ill fated bus bearing no. UK 07 PA-5640 of MS Ram Dayal Travels carrying pilgrims on way from Katra towards Delhi met with an accident near Manda Naka, Panjtirthi Jammu.
The official said the injured have suffered minor injuries. They were moved to Government Medical College Jammu and all of them are stable.
Efforts are on to retrieve the body of the driver, the official added—(KNO)
