Srinagar, March 18: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has predicted a dry weather spell in Jammu and Kashmir till March 26, with a possibility of light snow over isolated higher reaches in North Kashmir on the night of March 19.
According to the forecast, a fresh spell of light rain and snow is expected at scattered places from March 27 to 28. The weather is likely to remain dry again from March 29 to 31.
In view of the forecast, the Meteorological Centre has issued advisories for travelers, tourists, transporters, farmers, and the general public.
Travelers and tourists are advised to follow administrative and traffic advisories, while farmers are advised to continue with their farm operations.
The public is also warned to avoid sloppy and avalanche-prone areas.
