Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today presented J&K Budget 2025 in the legislative Assembly.

The key issues discussed:

All women will be granted free ridership on government-owned public transport including e-buses: J&K CM Omar Abdullah.

Marriage assistance for girls under the AAY category has been increased from ₹50,000 to ₹75,000.

10 Kg Ration Free for AAY beneficiaries from April 1.

98 water testing labs to be established in J&K this year .

“Our challenges are immense, and our limitations are many, but we must come together with unwavering determination to tackle them . In crafting this maiden budget, I have strived to ensure it genuinely reflects the dreams of our people, the needs of future generations, and the aspirations of every citizen of Jammu and Kashmir. The restoration of full statehood is a deeply cherished goal for our people, and our government remains steadfast in its commitment to achieving it,” said CM while presenting his maiden budget in J&K Assembly.

J&K Omar Abdullah allocates Rs 815 crore for agriculture, Rs 390 crore for tourism development.

National Law University to be developed in J&K. 50 crores in the budget proposed for the establishment of NLU.

We will take concrete steps to support and revive press clubs in Jammu and Srinagar,” Omar Abdullah.

J&K CM Omar Abdullah proposes zero stamp duty on property transfers to blood relatives in his budget speech.
