Srinagar, Sept 26: Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff is scheduled to participate in the second edition of the Kashmir Marathon, being organised by the Tourism department Jammu and Kashmir on November 02, 2025. The J&K Tourism Department confirmed the actor's participation through a tweet on the social networking site ‘X’. During the autumn race, the actor will be seen running along participants through breathtaking scenery, including the majestic Dal Lake and the lush Zabarwan mountain range, while passing iconic sites such as the Shankaracharya Temple, Pari Mahal, Mughal Gardens and Dargah Shrine. Jackie Shroff’s participation is expected to draw national attention to the event, further enhancing its appeal and spotlighting Kashmir as a premier destination for cultural and sports tourism. More than just a race, the Kashmir Marathon is an immersive experience that blends heritage, nature, and community spirit, offering runners a rare opportunity to engage with Kashmir’s breathtaking beauty and rich cultural tapestry.
