IUST organizes week-long celebration under Red Ribbon Club

Awantipora Jan 17: Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) organized week-long celebrations beginning with the National Youth Day in collaboration with SKIMS Medical College Bemina and Jammu Kashmir AIDS Control Society (JKACS) under Red Ribbon Club Program. The programmes organized under the theme “Arise, Awake and Realize the Power You Hold” were aimed to instill a sense of responsibility and empowerment in the youth.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Asmat Parveen, Principal Syed Mantaqui Memorial College of Nursing & Medical Technology (SMMCN&MT) said that youth have a responsibility to contribute in the progress and development of the Nation and the purpose of such programmes is to make them aware of the challenges and prepare them accordingly for the future. Ms. Chesfeeda, In-Charge Nursing Administration, MC Bemina commended the faculty and students for their active participation.
