Awantipora, Feb 20: The Department of Mathematical Sciences, IUST organized series of specialized talks on importance and career opportunities in Statistics, Actuarial Sciences and Data Sciences.
Prof. Deepesh Bhati, Head Department of Statistics, Central University of Rajasthan was the main speaker, who delved into the realms of Statistics, Actuarial Sciences, and Data Sciences, highlighting their significance in academia and industry.
Dr. Peer Bilal Ahmad, Head, Department of Mathematical Sciences, welcomed the speakers and the participants and talked about prospects of Statistical and Data Sciences. Interactive sessions allowed scholars to directly engage with experts. The event was moderated by Dr. Ishfaq Ahmad from Department of Mathematics.
