IUST hosts webinar on e-waste management

Awantipora, Feb 19: The Department of Management Studies, IUST organized a webinar on “E-Waste Management” in collaboration with Karo Sambhav, promoting sustainable and responsible practices. The program brought together experts, faculty members, students, scholars and participants from various backgrounds to explore the importance of sustainable management practices in today’s business landscape.

Omkar Ganu, Senior Specialist at Karo Sambhav delivered the keynote address and discussed the challenges and potential solutions associated with e-waste management. In his opening address, Prof. Parvez A. Mir, Dean and Head of the Department of Management Studies, emphasized the critical role of e-waste management in contemporary society.

Coordinated by Dr. Syed Ifan Shafi, Dr. Mohd Iqbal Khan, and Dr. Mubashir Baba, at the Department of Management Studies, the webinar provided a platform for discussions and knowledge sharing.
