Awantipora, Apr 19: In line with its commitment to institutional excellence and quality enhancement, the Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) held a workshop to prepare for the upcoming NAAC reassessment under the Binary Accreditation Framework (BAF). Organized by the Directorate of Internal Quality Assurance (DIQA), the workshop brought together academic heads from across the University to strategize for the reassessment due in late 2025.
DIQA Director Dr. Peer Bilal Ahmad, provided a comprehensive roadmap focused on institutional strengths, actionable insights, and sustainable quality practices. Dr. Farooq Hussain Bhat, Deputy Director, DIQA, highlighted the critical role of academic leadership in advancing the University’s quality goals. The workshop fostered constructive dialogue, collective introspection, and departmental alignment with the BAF criteria. Participants expressed strong support for the DIQA-led initiative and reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing IUST’s accreditation outcomes.
