Jammu, Mar 22: Hotel Radisson Blu Jammu took an initiative to inaugurate the IPL Wall of Fame in order to celebrate the success of J&K’s cricketing heroes who are part of various teams in the 17th edition of the Indian Premier League.
The portraits of IPL stars of J&K including the pace sensation Umran Malik, explosive batter Abdul Samad, bowling all-rounder Yudhvir Singh Charak, swing bowler Rasikh Salam and left-arm spinning all-rounder Abid Mushtaq, were unveiled by the chief guest Ranjeet Kalra, Member Sports Council and ace Sports Administrator along with
Eminent Journalist Ahmed Ali Fayaz, Pradeep Dutta Senior Editor Times Now and Media Manager JKCA, Rajesh Dhar were the guests of honour.
On the occasion, eminent Sports Journalists of various publications were honoured by the organisers for their outstanding contribution in promoting sportspersons of various sports disciplines.
Those who were honoured included Sudhir Kumar, Sanjeev Sharma, Vikas Abrol, Ms Kirti Dhar, Ranjit Thakur and Akash Raj.
