Kupwara 30/11/024: Dr. Parvinder Singh Sudan Director Animal Husbandry Department laid a strong emphasis on livestock health and innovative ways in quality fodder production. In Kashmir we are facing multiple challenges in catering the health of livestock especially during harsh winter seasons. Dr Sudan stressed upon adoption of innovative fodder production via hydroponics , Preservation and fortification to meet the challenges of fodder deficit in winter which according to Dr.Sudan was taking the tool on Livestock health.
Dr. Sudan was taking the review of different blocks of Kupwara besides assessment of progress of various departmental wings as a part of a series to evaluate different districts of Kashmir valley.
While acknowledging the praiseworthy work done by officers of District despite the challenges of Tedious terrain and Staff scarcity. He reiterated for more efforts to cover the backlogs and lacunae especially in HAD projects.
Dr.Sudan has assumed the charge of Director AH department Kashmir last month only was very much proactive in alignment of the department on progressive route.He also hints about major overhaul in other schemes like NAIP, NADCP, NLM. And IDDS.
