Inter-College Table Tennis Tournament 2024 concludes at GCOE Jammu

Jammu, Oct 14: The Inter-College Table Tennis Tournament 2024, organized at the Government College of Education Jammu, saw exciting competition among participants from five prominent colleges.
The event featured both men’s and women’s categories, with teams from Govt. MAM College, GCW Gandhi Nagar, Govt. SPMR College of Commerce, GGM Science College, and the host college, Govt. College of Education. About 50 students participated in the event.
Dr. Jyoti Parihar, Principal of Govt. College of Education served as the Chief Guest for the event, applauded the players for their efforts and encouraged them to continue honing their skills. Dr. Vinod Bakshi, Director Sports, Cluster University of Jammu and the Guest of Honour, praised the students for their dedication and motivated them to maintain the spirit of sportsmanship in every game. Prof. Satish Sharma attended as the Special Guest, further elevating the significance of the event.
In the Men’s category, Govt. SPMR College of Commerce emerged victorious, defeating Govt. MAM College with an impressive score of 3-0. In the Women’s category, Govt. SPMR College of Commerce also secured victory by beating GGM Science College with a score of 3-1.
The entire tournament was organized under the expert supervision of Dr. Vinod Bakshi. The event was officiated by Ajay Ratra and Rekha Ratra, ensuring a fair and smooth conduct of the matches.
