In a thrilling display of strength and teamwork, the Inter Bn(Ops)/GC Tug-of-war competition for 2023 unfolded at GC CRPF Humhama, Srinagar from September 4th to 5th. This event saw the participation of all 23 Operational Units from the Srinagar sector, showcasing their prowess in this grueling contest.
The climactic battle for supremacy transpired between 79 Bn and 73 Bn CRPF, culminating in a hard-fought showdown. Ultimately, it was 73 Bn that emerged victorious, securing the coveted 1st position in the tournament. Shri Mathew A. John, DIG Range Srinagar South Range, had the honor of presenting the trophy to the triumphant 73 Battalion team, extending his warm congratulations to them for their outstanding performance.
