Intense competition unfolds in 72nd All India Police Hockey Championship at Jammu

Jammu, Feb 02: The 72nd All India Police Hockey Championship, organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Police, witnessed fierce competition on its fourth day at the venue in Jammu. Here are the highlights from the matches:
Match no. 13: SSB Vs Jammu And Kashmir Police Jammu and Kashmir Police secured a hard-fought victory against SSB, clinching the match with a scoreline of 3-1. Satwant Singh Jr. No.13 netted the first goal, while Karanjit Singh Jr. No.05 sealed the win with two more goals. Karanjit Singh Jr. No.05 was declared the Player of the Match for his outstanding performance. The Chief Guest of the match was Bhanu Pratap Singh, Member of the J&K Sports Council.
Match No 14: Chandigarh Police Vs CISF CISF dominated the game against Chandigarh Police with an impressive 6-0 victory. Vishal Jit Singh Jr. No.09 opened the scoring, and Ankit Singh Jr. No.05 was declared the Player of the Match for his stellar contribution. Rajni Sharma, Dy Co. IRP-1st Bn, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
Match No 15: Uttar Pradesh Police Vs Odisha Police Uttar Pradesh Police emerged triumphant against Odisha Police, securing a 7-4 victory. Anwar Shah Jr. No.20 claimed the Player of the Match title for his remarkable performance. Rajinder Singh, Member Sports Council, presided over the match as the Chief Guest.
Match No 16: Rajasthan Police Vs ITBP ITBP outplayed Rajasthan Police, securing a 4-1 victory. Gurvinder Singh Jr. No.02 was declared the Player of the Match for his exceptional performance, scoring four goals.
Match No 17: Himachal Pradesh Police vs. Punjab Police Punjab Police dominated the match against Himachal Pradesh Police with an emphatic 10-0 victory. Varinder Singh Jr. No.22 was declared the Player of the Match for his outstanding contribution. Zaffar Iqbal JKAS, CSO J&K Sports Council, honored the event as the Chief Guest.
Match No. 05 (Women’s Team): Haryana Police vs. CRPF CRPF secured a resounding 7-0 victory against Haryana Police. Yashika Negi Jr. No.37 was named the Player of the Match for her outstanding performance. Ms. Krupali, Arjuna Awardee, was the Chief Guest for the match.
Match no. 06 (women’s team): Gujarat Police Vs Odisha Police Odisha Police dominated the match, defeating Gujarat Police with a scoreline of 6-0. Priyanka Ekka Jr. No.02 claimed the Player of the Match title for her exceptional performance.
