District Administration Doda in association with Centre for Essential Skills (CES) of IIT Jammu launched a 3 month Innovative Entrepreneurship development program, here today.
The program, under the Mission Youth AVSAR scheme, aims to impart vocational training on skills specific to the District’s demands and enhance Entrepreneurial Skills of the youth of Doda district.
The skill program was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Harvinder Singh and Director, IIT Jammu Dr Manoj Gaur, who came all the way to Doda to launch the innovative program.
The inauguration ceremony paved the way for the commencement of an innovative program which aims to develop soft and technical skills in first month and further nurture 5 specific skills related to Tourism, Videography, Agriculture, Electrical and marketing skills that aim to equip the youth of Doda with the necessary skills to give wings to their entrepreneurial ambitions and contribute to job creation & economic development of the region.
