The Indian Army on Saturday said that it has foiled an infiltration bid in the Krishna Ghati Sector of Jammu and Kashmir in which a soldier sustained gunshot injury during a counter-infiltration operation.
The injured soldier was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
ANI tweeted, “Indian Army & J&K Police foiled an infiltration bid in Krishna Ghati Sector on 23-24 Jun, in which one soldier suffered gunshot wound & was evacuated. Three infiltrators running towards LoC were engaged by own troops & seen falling down near LoC: 16 Corps, Indian Army.”
