Indo-Aus delegation visits Hazratbal shrine, praises Waqf Board’s development

Srinagar, Sept 23: A day after engaging in an in-depth discussion with Waqf Board Chairperson Dr Darakhshan Andrabi regarding future Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, the Indo-Australian delegation visited Dargah Hazratbal shrine today to pay their respects. Dr Andrabi welcomed the delegation led by Sajid K Saiyed, Chairman of Bharat CSR Network, at the historic shrine. The team inspected the ongoing construction and praised the efforts of the Waqf Board, especially Dr Andrabi, for transforming the shrine into one of South Asia’s most beautiful and up-to-date religious sites. During their visit, the Waqf Board chairperson shared a detailed report on the mega construction project aimed at enhancing the shrine’s facilities and grandeur. She said, “Many works are still underway and will be completed soon, further adding to the shrine’s beauty and significance.” The delegation commended the upliftment of the shrine, describing it as of international standards. Sajid K Saiyed expressed the group’s eagerness to collaborate with the Waqf Board on public welfare projects to serve the local community.
