Baramulla, Feb 03: The Indian Army’s Chinar Warriors on Friday said that it evacuated a critically ill lady after receiving a distress call from the remote village of Tilawari in Baramulla.
An army official said that the team was tasked with saving a critically ill woman who was in dire need of medical attention.
“After receiving the call, the Chinar Warriors sprang into action and quickly made their way to Tilawari. Upon arrival, they assessed the situation and determined that the best course of action was to evacuate the patient to a nearby Primary Health Centre (PHC) in Uri,” the official said.
The official said that the team worked tirelessly to ensure the safe transport of the patient, taking all necessary precautions to ensure her well-being during the journey.
“Despite the challenges posed by the remote location and rugged terrain, the Chinar Warriors persevered and succeeded in their mission,” he further added.
Upon arrival at the PHC, the patient was immediately attended to by medical professionals and given the care she needed to recover.
