When terrorism based on religious extremism and radicalisation is used as the state policy to indulge in balkanisation of the neighbours then there is no option other than decimating the terror infrastructure. That is what India has done to avenge the Pahalgam massacre that led to the massacre of innocent tourists by the Pakistan trained and patronised religious extremists. Pakistan has been continuously refusing to stop the cross-border terrorism as the instrument of state policy to destabilise India in Jammu and Kashmir. The Rising Kashmir has been comprehensively analysing the machinations of Pakistan and its ISI to dismantle the Northern Frontier of India in Jammu and Kashmir in the series of editorials in the aftermath of the Pahalgam massacre. Not only that, the Rising Kashmir has been cautioning the threats from Pakistan and its terror mercenaries well before the Pahalgam carnage. A clinical analysis of the encirclement of Jammu by the terror modules has been well underlined by the Rising Kashmir to sensitise the opinion makers and the policy makers at the strategic level to cut Pakistan to size. The well measured and precision guided assault on the terrorist bases and terror centres in Pakistan Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (POJK) and Pakistan on the early Wednesday morning is a decisive step and much needed one that was much required to send a clear message that India won’t tolerate nefarious designs to inflict asymmetrical war on India to keep the Indian citizens as hostages of terrorism. It goes to the credit of the Indian Armed Forces that the Operation Sindoor formulated to deliver justice to the innocent Indian citizens who were killed point blank and their women left as widows has been directed on the terrorist bases with a clarity on non-escalation and not targeting the civilian areas. The Indian nation is proud of its Armed Forces for sticking to the target and executing the operation swiftly. Pakistan has been indulging in a policy of plausible deniability to bail out its terror modules. The Rising Kashmir has repeatedly underlined that the terrorists operating in Jammu and Kashmir to inflict genocidal attrition from the last 35 years are an extension of the Pakistan Army. They are the un-uniformed battalions of the Pakistani military establishment meant to engage India in an asymmetrical war. This can be gauged from the kind of training and tendency to engage the Indian Army by these mercenaries in previous ambushes in Rajouri and Kathua districts of Jammu. Pakistan’s duplicity has been exposed today. After the decimation of the nine terrorist sanctuaries by the Indian Armed Forces the top brass of the Pakistani military and political establishment gave a state funeral to the terrorists who were targeted in these strikes. These state sponsored funerals were attended by the Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharief and the Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir, making it clear that terrorists are officially patronised by the politico-military establishment of Pakistan. And under the cover of indulging in plausible deniability Pakistan has imposed a war on India for more than three decades and as such it needs a comprehensive strategy to take the wind out of its sails. Pakistan knows it well that it cannot fight a conventional war with India. So to achieve its evil designs in Jammu and Kashmir by indulging in the dismemberment of India it is using subversive means. Terrorism is a milder word to identify the Pakistani designs against India. It is a war that India has been fighting with Pakistan but the only thing is that due to wrong nomenclature precise response was lacking.Let there be no ambiguity about it that Pakistan has inflicted the war on India the day it engineered subversion and violation of ceasefire to infiltrate its religious mercenaries to destabilise Jammu and Kashmir. Operation Sindoor is a well measured and objective defined response of India to avenge the repeated assaults by Pakistan on Indian citizens. Now the ball lies in Pakistan’s court. It has to decide whether it wants to be part of the progressive world order based on upholding freedom and human rights or it wants to drag its citizens into a quagmire of radical religious regression based on human rights violations. Otherwise, the writing is on the wall. India has tolerated enough of its evil designs. And Indian armed Forces are well within their rights to give befitting reply to its nefarious designs. Instead of indulging in ceasefire violations and issuing empty warnings. It needs to introspect and take its citizens out of poverty and regression. It must focus on improving its image of being an epicentre of global religious terrorism. It must not forget that any misadventure from its side will invite a befitting reply from the Indian side and can lead to its dismemberment. The reason being the brewing discontent among its various provinces due to the theo-fascist politico-military clique that rules Pakistan. Balochistan is a case in point that sums up the situation of human rights in Pakistan. It gives the exact situation of the discontent brewing in Pakistan. It must set its house in order instead of using religious terrorism as the state policy and then define it in terms of a strategic depth. The nation stands with its Armed Forces for their dedication to uphold the territorial integrity and sovereignty of India. India is proud of its Armed Forces for repeatedly depicting the highest professional values and valour to safeguard the nation from the adversaries.
