SWD Sgr organises vocational Training Prog

Srinagar, Feb 21: Social Welfare Department (SWD), Srinagar, through SANKALP–Hub for Empowerment of Women (Mission Shakti), successfully organized Vocational Training Programme at Islamia College of Science and Technology Hawal. Vocational Training Programme aimed at equipping students with hands-on skills and industry-relevant knowledge to enhance employability and entrepreneurial capabilities. The programme, was designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world industry requirements. The initiative reflects the institution’s commitment to skill development and career readiness. The Resource Persons from District Industries and Commerce and Government Women’s Polytechnic College emphasized the importance of career planning at an early stage.
