Social media user booked for offensive post against Women in Srinagar: Police

Jammu and Kashmir Police on Monday said that it registered a case against an individual for posting objectionable content against women folk of a particular community on social-media. In a post on X, Police said, "Srinagar Police takes cognizance against an individual for posting objectionable/provocative content against women folk of a particular community on social media platform X. "FIR No 14/2024 under relevant sections of law stands registered in PS Rainawari & investigation initiated Srinagar Police," the police said.
