SMVDU NCC cadets present Guard of Honour to LG Sinha

Rajouri, Dec 31: The NCC cadets of Shri Mata VaishnoDevi University (SMVDU) presented an impressive Guard of Honour to the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir Union Territory, Manoj Sinha during the 11th Convocation of SMVDU. According to a statement issued here, the ceremonial honour reflected the discipline, precision, and high standards upheld by the NCC cadets of the University. SMVDU is proud to have both Army Wing and Air Force Wing of NCC, whose cadets actively contribute to national service, leadership development, and ceremonial duties. The Lieutenant Governor appreciated the NCC cadets for their dedication, discipline, and commendable turnout, and praised their commitment towards nation-building. Earlier, during his convocation address, the Vice Chancellor, SMVDU, highlighted that NCC cadets of the University have consistently brought laurels to the institution by being selected for various prestigious national-level camps and training programs. He further informed the gathering that NCC cadet of SMVDU has also been selected to participate in the upcoming Republic Day Camp (RDC) at New Delhi, which stands as a matter of great pride for the University.
