Shahnawaz A. Shah among 14 officers honoured for outstanding service on R-Day

Srinagar, Jan 26: In recognition of his selfless dedication, integrity and significant contribution to the tourism sector, Shahnawaz A. Shah was among 14 officers honoured by the Divisional Administration on the occasion of the 76th Republic Day celebrations held at Bakshi Stadium on Sunday.

The awards were presented by the Deputy Chief Minister in the presence of Divisional Commissioner, Inspector General of Police, and other senior officers of the civil administration and police.

Shahnawaz A. Shah has rendered over 26 years of meritorious service, playing a pivotal role in strengthening the tourism ecosystem in Kashmir, particularly through his contributions at the Sher-i-Kashmir International Convention Centre (SKICC) and in promoting Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) tourism.

His professional acumen, commitment to public service and passion for good governance have earned him wide appreciation across the administration and the tourism fraternity.
