What is going on at the international level is indeed a cause of concern when seen in the light of human development and human rights. The American approach towards the established norms that define the world order is destructive and challenges the rational worldview. Be it the tariff war it has engineered in the name of America first or the occupation of Venezuela makes it clear that the US political objective is subjugation and destabilization so that it can impose its hegemony for saving its economy. It can be termed as the emergence of new imperialism or colonialism for sustaining its own social order at the cost of violating the human rights of the people that it is trampling upon in the name of installing the democratic order. One thing is clear that over the decades what was being called by the US as the mission for reaffirming democracies has fallen flat on its face as its hidden agenda was imperialism in disguise. Perhaps the US is the only nation in the modern world that has used foreign lands to defend its territories but most of the times emerged as trapped in those onslaughts. Those who have witnessed the cold war era are well aware of the American machinations to checkmate the erstwhile USSR on the Afghan turf and ultimately ending in creating the Taliban. It is history now that this Taliban transformed into a Frankenstein monster causing strife and terror not only in their land but in the Indian subcontinent and beyond besides acting as the fountainhead of dreaded radicalization and regression across the globe. In Jammu and Kashmir we can’t remain oblivious to the reality that Talibanization played the worst role to inflict genocidal attrition on innocent people in the name of religion. It was the US that pumped dollars or to be more precise the petro dollars and war machinery through Pakistan to sustain the Taliban. Once the objective of fighting the USSR was met to some extent on the Afghan soil the Taliban mercenaries were diverted by Pakistan under the aegis of the Operation TOPAC led by its military dictator General Zia-ul-Haq towards Jammu and Kashmir to wage a war against India by inciting the people through the sleeper cells cultivated through subversion. When the regressive Taliban turned its guns towards the US and was responsible for using terrorism against the US. The American spin doctors invented the good Taliban and bad Taliban. This hypocrisy says it all. Again, the US policy makers in order to seek stabilization of their society and state whether in terms of economy or national sustenance have resorted to tariff war under the Trump regime. It has already imposed tariff on India for importing oil from Russia under the ruse of sustaining the Ukrainian war. Now it has moved ahead with another sinister move initiate a legislation that will give power to the Trump regime to levy up to 500% tariffs on the nations that purchase oil or Uranium from Russia. This move is meant to destabilize India, China and Brazil.On the other hand it has destabilized and captured Venezuela to acquire its oil resources. This is sheer hypocrisy. It wants to procure its oil supplies by all means and sabotage oil requirements of other nations by imposing sanctions. In the wake of this move Russia has already advanced its fleets to safeguard its interests to counter the US moves. In Spite of all the arm twisting the Trump regime has failed to stop Russia in Ukraine.The situation on the ground is akin to transforming the world into theatre of international war as European nations are also divided on the Russian moves.In the guise of entering Venezuela and now planning to capture Greenland the US is imposing war on the world for capturing the oil resources.
