Alfa Suzuki debuts Suzuki’s first electric scooter, e-ACCESS, in Kashmir

  Srinagar, Feb 19: Alfa Suzuki is proud to announce the official unveiling of Suzuki’s inaugural electric scooter, the Suzuki e-ACCESS, at its showroom in Srinagar. This milestone event marks Suzuki’s strategic entry into the electric two-wheeler segment, bringing the brand's legendary reliability and Japanese engineering to the realm of sustainable mobility. The unveiling ceremony was led by Mr. Fayaz Ahmad Ahanger, Chairman & Managing Director of Alfa Group, alongside key representatives from Suzuki Motorcycle India, including Mr. Pradeep Sharma (Regional Service Manager) and Mr. Sandeep Kumar (Area Service Manager), and Azhar Qureshi (General Manager – Alfa Suzuki) The event was also attended by distinguished guests from the financial sector, including representatives from JK Bank and Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Co. Ltd. "The Suzuki e-ACCESS represents a leap forward in global electric mobility," said Mr Fayaz Ahmad Ahanger. "It offers a long-life battery, agile handling, and a high-quality fit and finish. Built on the foundation of Suzuki e-Technology, the scooter is defined by five core pillars: Reliability & Durability: Developed under Suzuki’s global testing standards, the e-ACCESS has undergone rigorous testing, including submersion, temperature extremes, and battery safety protocols. Superior Battery Life: Powered by a Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery, the e-ACCESS offers a lifespan up to four times longer than traditional NMC batteries. Advanced Engineering: The lightweight chassis features an integrated aluminium battery case for superior rigidity and agile handling. Seamless Performance: A powerful 4.1 kW motor delivers 15 Nm of torque. The scooter maintains a responsive feel even at a 10% State of Charge (SOC) and features three ride modes (Eco, Ride A, and Ride B), a reverse mode, and regenerative braking. High-Quality Finish: The scooter boasts LED lighting, two-tone alloy wheels, and a maintenance-free drive belt with a lifespan of up to 7 years or 70,000 km. In a statement issued by the company, bookings for the new Suzuki e-ACCESS are now open at all Alfa Suzuki showrooms.
