Inclement Weather: Keep close eye on educational institutions: CEO Kupwara to Principals

Srinagar, Apr 28: Chief Education Officer (CEO) Kupwara, Abdul Majeed Dar, has directed all principals and heads of institutions to personally monitor the weather situation and keep a close eye on educational facilities.
A communiqué shared by CEO Kupwara states, “In view of the inclement weather and rainfall, all principals, zonal education officers, and headmasters of the district are directed to personally monitor the situation and keep an eye on all educational institutions under their control to avoid any risk to life or property.”
It further states, “In case of any eventuality, the undersigned should be informed accordingly through written communication. Additionally, the weather advisories from the administration should be followed in letter and spirit.”
Meanwhile, continuous rains in the frontier district of Kupwara have increased water flow in streams and canals. The administration has also issued advisories urging people not to venture close to streams and canals due to heavy rains.
