Srinagar, 04 Oct: The Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, today announced the appointment of Imtiaz Ismail Parray, a 2009 AGMUT IPS officer, as the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) on a deputation basis.
Parray’s appointment comes in response to an existing vacancy within the SSB. According to the official order obtained by GNS, his deputation will be for a period of five years from the date he assumes charge of the post, or until further orders are issued, whichever comes earlier.
The official communiqué has also urged the concerned office to facilitate the immediate release of Officer Parray, enabling him to commence his new assignment at the Centre.
