IMS Jammu organizes Investor Awareness Program

Jammu, Apr 01: Institute of Management Sciences, Jammu, organised a Guest Session- Investor Awareness Program, on Monday within its campus premises for the students of Management and Computer department.
The session was graced by the Expert Speaker Ankush Goja (Regulatory, Northern Region Incharge Investor Service Centre, Jammu). The session began with the welcome speech by Director IMS, Dr. Meenakshi Sharma followed by an hour long session by the guest speaker Mr. Ankush Goja.
The focus of the session was about Understanding Financial markets and Evaluating investment opportunities. Mr. Goja explained the importance of Financial planning for young students and discussed the various risk management strategies. He also focused on how to build a diversified investment portfolio and navigate the regulatory frameworks. The session was attended by students of BBA, BCA and MBA.
The session concluded with an engaging QnA wherein the speaker answered various queries of the students. Later a Memento was presented to the guest by Director IMS Dr. Meenakshi Sharma followed by a formal vote of thanks by Ms. Gurshish Kour, Assistant professor, IMS.
