Jammu, Dec 03: State coordination committee in-charge of Aam Aadmi Party and former minister Harsh Dev Singh Saturday said illegal occupation of government bungalows is violation or rules, as he alleged that public exchequer is being spent on welfare of BJP leaders.
“Jammu and Kashmir government is using the government exchequer for the welfare of Bharatiya Janata Party leaders who are also illegally occupying government bungalows with the help of the administration.”

Addressing a press conference here, Harsh Dev Singh said that the government recently removed a number of opposition leaders from government bungalows “but BJP leaders are still illegally occupying them and enjoying all the facilities there.”
” Government bungalows are built and managed by using taxpayers money and BJP leaders are illegally occupying these bungalows and thus government exchequer is being used for the welfare of BJP leaders,” said Singh.

Harsh Dev said that taxpayers money should have been utilised for the welfare of common masses of Jammu and Kashmir “but government here is using the money for the welfare of BJP leaders and common masses including employees are on roads for their genuine demands.”

He demanded that government buildings in illegal occupation of BJP leaders should be immediately cleared.

Singh further said that the government in Jammu and Kashmir is supporting BJP in all possible manners “while there is no one to listen to the plight of common masses.”

” Security front has also been compromised wherein a BJP worker is being given security cover through multiple PSOs and a leader of opposition is deprived of it which otherwise was never seen in J&K,” Singh claimed.

He said the public services delivery system is not functioning as per expectations of the people.
“Common masses are struggling hard to get their genuine issues addressed,” Singh said.

He said that elections in J&K are being delayed in a well hatched conspiracy and a common man is deprived of democratic rights.
