In a monumental achievement that underscores its commitment to technological innovation, the Indian Institute of Technology, Jammu (IIT Jammu), has been proudly selected as a pioneer in the establishment of a 5G Use Case Lab.

This prestigious initiative falls under the purview of the “100 5G Use Case Labs” scheme, generously funded by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), Government of India, read an official statement.

This momentous announcement comes as a result of the dedication of IIT Jammu’s team, which comprises of Dr Ankur Bansal, Dr Samaresh Bera, Dr Ankit Dubey, Dr Saurav Kushmanda, Dr Ajay Singh, Dr Ravikant Saini, and Dr Sudhakar Modem.

The institution is exceptionally proud of the team’s collaborative efforts and unwavering commitment to advancing the nation’s technological prowess in the field of 5G telecommunications.

The 5G Use Case Lab at IIT Jammu will serve as a pivotal center for research, development, and innovation in the realm of 5G technology. It will provide a conducive environment for conducting experiments, trials, and testing of 5G applications, propelling India to the forefront of global telecommunications innovation.

This momentous achievement stands as a testament to IIT Jammu’s dedication to cutting-edge research and development and its unwavering support of the Government of India’s vision for a technologically empowered future. (ANI)
