Bandipora, Aug 15: In a dazzling display of creativity and ingenuity, the International Delhi Public School (IDPS) Bandipora left spectators awe-inspired with their mesmerizing ‘Jhanki’ presentation on the eve of 77th Independence Day.
The ‘Jhanki’ served as a gateway to India’s space and defense capabilities, with strikingly detailed models of Chandrayan 3, the upgraded version of Mig 29, a navy ship, and an intricately designed map of India.
Joint Director Planning Bandipora, Imtiyaz Ahmad known for his innovative ideas and brain behind the ‘Jhanki’, told Rising Kashmir that it was entirely crafted by local carpenters, painters, and support staff.
Imtiyaz said the creativity and precision that went into these models were nothing short of remarkable, as they perfectly embodied the spirit of India’s technological advancement and national pride. The students, dressed immaculately for the occasion, added a touch of authenticity to the performance, he added.
The officer said the commitment of the students of IDPS to the task was evident as they flawlessly executed their roles, bringing life to the ‘Jhanki’ and earning resounding praise for their outstanding performance.
The ‘Jhanki’ not only captivated the imagination but also showcased the immense progress India has made in defense and space exploration, Imtiyaz said, adding that this amalgamation of skill, passion, and patriotism demonstrated the incredible heights that the country has reached.
The three vehicles used in the display reflected the power and potential of India’s defence and space programs, leaving spectators in awe of the nation’s achievements, he said.
