Srinagar, Apr 26: The donation of a critical care ambulance by ICICI Bank to the Faculty of Forestry at SKUAST-K is a crucial addition to campus facilities, particularly considering the remote location of the campus and the diverse background of students. The handover ceremony, attended by prominent officials from both ICICI Bank and SKUAST-K, underscores the significance of this contribution to enhancing emergency medical services on campus.
The involvement of Director of Education Dil Mohammad Makhdoomi, Director of Finance Dr. Manzoor Ahmad, Registrar Prof. T.H. Masoodi, and Dean Faculty of Forestry Prof. Sajad A Gangoo in the handover process highlights the importance attached to this initiative by the university administration.
The support provided by ICICI Bank under its CSR initiative demonstrates a commitment to improving student amenities, particularly healthcare services. With students hailing from both within and outside the country, the provision of a fully equipped critical care ambulance addresses a pressing need for prompt medical assistance, given the distance of the campus from major city hospitals. The Team of the ICICI Bank was headed by Mr Mir Wasim, Regional Head, Retail, ICICI Bank.
The gratitude expressed by SKUAST-K officials towards ICICI Bank officials underscores the collaborative effort between the bank and the university in addressing the healthcare needs of the campus community.
